ARF has helped establish seven desperately needed clinics in Kabul, Logar and Maidan Provinces.  These clinics provide medicines and medical care to the sick patients free-of-charge.  Over eight tons of medicines were collected from American doctors and health organizations and shipped to Afghanistan, arriving in June 2002.  Subsequently, smaller shipments have been sent to accommodate the clinics.
